The men of Melrose will be gathering for our last get together of the year. Meeting at Melrose Hall at 1pm and then going on to the Club Room In Hook. Pastor William Morson will be the guest speaker for the afternoon of games, fellowship and food.

We are holding a pub discussion group this month at The Oak pub in Oakridge. Come and join us as we discuss some interesting topics. Bring a friend who doesn't know Jesus yet but would be interested to discuss issues of faith with some Christians.

Gospel Of Mark Session

If you have been interested to find out more about what Christians believe and why we believe it, this will be a great opportunity to come and find out in an informal walk through of the Gospel of Mark. Join us on Thu 19th eve, 7pm -9pm at Melrose Hall or on Fri from 2-4pm also at Melrose Community Hall in Popley.

Beach Baptism

This Saturday 17th Aug, we will be making our way to Southbourne Beach for our annual baptism on the beach. Bring your picnic, swim wear and beach chairs for a day of fun as we celebrate more people making a public declaration of faith.

What a momentous occasion we had celebrating 50 years of Melrose Christian Fellowship. As we looked back, it reminded us of how faithful God has been and how he has kept the church standing strong. Resurrection Sunday Service - Easter Sunday

This Easter weekend, we will be celebrating over two days. On Sat 30th March we will be out on the streets of Popley with our choir singing and sharing the good news of Jesus with our neighbourhood from 11am - 12.30pm.

Then on Sunday 31st, join us for our Resurrection Day Service at the usual time of 10.30am followed by games, deluxe hot chocolates, cakes and hot cross buns.

Sunday's session will be at our usual meeting place at Melrose Community Centre, 597 Abbey Road Starting at 10am  and finishing at 3.30pm. New Years Eve Celebration

There will be no Sunday morning service this coming Sunday the 31st Dec. We will however, be seeing the new year in together on Sun 31st Dec. Bookings for the meal are now closed, however you can join us for our talent show and celebration service from 7.30pm onwards. Please note, we are NOT Meeting at Melrose Hall. We will be meeting at Oakridge Methodist Church.

TFM Mission Week

Sat 9th - Sun 17th Sep 2023

We are still recovering from an incredible week of mission after the Through Faith Missions Team joined us and three other churches in Basingstoke to spread the good news of Jesus across the town. We had a week of visiting our local areas, chatting to people on their doorsteps about faith, praying for people, outreach in the Town Centre and various events throughout the week. God was glorified and many lives were touched by the love and power of God.

True Origins: Science In The Bible

If you are interested in science and finding out how it fits with the Biblical view on how this world came to be, this event is for you.
Maybe you have friends or family members who don't believe the idea of creation can stand up in a world of science. This is a great opportunity to come and hear a scientist who is a Christian present some information they may have never considered before.

Basingstoke Mission Week

9th - 17th Sep 2023

This Saturday 9th September begins our Basingstoke Mission. We are partnering with 3 other churches and  will be joined by Through Faith Missions team to bring the good news of Jesus to Basingstoke. We have a number of events on over next week, which you are invited to join us at. Keep an eye o this page to see the various events that are happening throughout the week.

Beach Baptism Day

19th Aug 2023

Our next baptism event will be taking place on Sat 19th Aug at Southbourne Beach. We will be making a day of it, picnicing, games and enjoying time at the beach. The baptisms will take place around 11am. If you are a believer in Jesus, have not been baptised and would like to be please contact us to make arrangements. 

Youth Retreat 2023

July 2023

Our 2023 Youth Retreat was a great success. Melrose youth were joined by young people from Wessex Christian Fellowship and other friends. The young people had a fantastic time in Aldershot doing mix of sports activities, worship and minsitry and fellowship and fun together.
 
We explored the theme of Identity and encouraged our young people to find their true identity in Christ.

Join us this Sunday 9th July, after our morning service for fellowship together. The ladies will meeting for a bbq, the girls will be gathering at the Morson's and the men and boys are heading of to Hook Youth Centre.

We start our morning with breakfast around tables and then move into our service with songs and stories with the chance to hear of the good news that Jesus brings when He comes into someone's life. All are welcome.

It will be a night of fun and sharing faith stories. And of course in true Melrsoe style you will be served a lovely 3 course meal.

King's Coronation Celebration

Melrose Christian Fellowship will be joining the Melrose Community Association at this event. Come and join us for an afternoon of fun for the whole family on sat 6th May.

If you would like the food provided, you will need to  book in advance and make a payment of £5 per person.

Church Family Breakfast

We have church family breakfast bi-monthly. Our last service was held was on 2nd April. We had a wonderful time of sharing breakfast, getting to know each other and hearin testimonies of God's saving power in the lives of some of our members. Join us for our next event on 28th May.

Healing and Deliverance Meeting

We are hosting ane evening of prayer for healing and deliverance. Join us at 6pm for worship, prayer and ministry.

Festive Events

December 2022

This December we have a number of events happening. If you have children you may enjoy our Friday Club Christmas concert. We will also have our church Christmas dinner as well as  a 1-hour Christmas Day service. Finally we will be seeing the new year in together at Melrose Hall with dinner, games and a watch night service. 

Joint Service

Saturday 12th Nov 2022

This service comes off the back of a fruitful mission in May 2022, where we joined with Wessex Christian Fellowship, New Life Community Church and Healing Springs Church. The mission was led by Through Faith Missions who deployed a team of missionaries to the Town for one week. God moved in many ways during that week and as a result the team will be returning this month to do a weekend of mission in the town. The churches involved will be joining together to celebrate what God is doing and to have a time of fellowship, thanksgiving and ministry. Join us for this live event on Sat 12th Nov at Ridgeway Community Centre for a time of worship, testimony and ministry. 

Half Night Of Prayer

Friday Club is back! We have three sessions for children and young people. The sessions are based on year group and maturity level. The sessions are all faith based where we play games, have discussion and learn from the Bible. Contact us if you have any questions.
